The Dancer

[en] Henri Matisse said that the invention of photography had released painting from the need to copy nature leaving the artist free to present emotion as directly as possible and by the simplest means. And here is my example: The Dancer, three steps in abstracting of an image.

[hr] Henri Matisse je izjavio da je izum fotografije oslobodio slikarstvo od potrebe da kopira prirodu dopuštajući umjetniku da slobodno prikazuje emocije što direktnije i na najjednostavnije načine. Ovdje je i moj primjer: Plesačica, tri koraka u apstrahiranju slike.
